Q: What are the rules? how can I play?

To enter the Uncommon San Diego raffle, visit any participating shop on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after Thanksgiving. No purchase is necessary to enter the raffle — everyone can enter one time per store they visit.

If you make a purchase at any Uncommon San Diego store, they will give you a purchase code for a bonus entry. Enter all your codes using our online form by December 1 to participate in the raffle.

Q: How do you collect entries for the raffle?

We keep track of your online entries via our online form. Each entry goes into our secure server and become a digital raffle ticket. We randomly select winners from all our entries after the raffle closes on Sunday night.

Q: Can I get extra raffle entries if I stay at a store for a long time or come back a second time during the event?

Unfortunately, that’s against the rules. We ask everyone to play by the honor system and play fair. Take heart: shop owners really appreciate your business!

Q: The code entry form isn’t working! What should I do?

First, try reloading the page in your browser. If that doesn’t fix things, save your codes somewhere safe, and try entering them when you’re connected to a strong wi-fi signal. It may be that cellular data reception is spotty. Still having trouble? Email us for technical help!

Q: I don’t like shopping. Why should I do this?

Uncommon San Diego is not just about shopping. It’s about exploring our city, finding a new favorite spot (or two). It’s about spending time with your friends and family. It’s about community, and feeling connected to your neighborhood. We hope you decide to shop small this holiday season, but you don’t have to shop to participate. Just come into any Uncommon SD shop during the event, take a look around, and use the shop visit code to enter the raffle.

Q: There’s no way I could actually win something, right?

Q: I work at/own one of the participating stores. Can I enter the raffle?

Participating shop owners and employees cannot win raffle prizes, but you are more than welcome to explore and shop!

Q: Do you share or sell the personal contact information I write on the raffle tickets?

We hate spam!! We’ll never share, sell, or otherwise transfer your personal information to a third party without your consent. We would love to stay in touch with you via email, though, so if you’d like to hear from us next year, make sure you opt in during sign up.
